They have made a number of very good articles and booklets by a variety of authors available for free as well as several books and booklets that can be purchased. Apologetics does not mean that these websites apologize for anything. The word "apologetics" comes from the Greek word apologia" which is translated "give an answer" in 1 Peter 3:15 in the phrase, "be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you..." Apologetics then is the "The branch of theology that is concerned with defending or proving the truth of Christian doctrines." (TheFreeDictionary.com)
