Our Mission is, “To reach children with the Gospel and teach them to be winsome witnesses for Christ and effective apologists for the truths of the Bible through age appropriate Bible exposition and discipleship.” Grace Bible Church of Hampton Roads is dedicated to teaching the Word of God to all ages. That is especially true of the children we have the privilege to minister to. The children that God has placed under our care are the future of the Church Which is His Body and must be trained to take our place when we are gone. To that end we are attempting to teach them intentionally. That is to say that we have a very specific set of objectives in mind as we teach. We want the next generation to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might and to stand (Eph. 6:13). They face principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. This is a mighty enemy and their faith and the truth of God's Word will be challenged, reticuled and undermined at every turn in their lives. They need to be prepared to face these attacks. They need to know that God's Word is accurate, trustworthy and relevant. They need to trust Jesus Christ as Savior and to be able to help others come to saving faith. They need to be able to rightley-divide the Word of Truth and to teach others to do so. This is a huge undertaking! But it is one that God has called us to and with His help we will accomplish our goal! Thank you for praying for us and for taking a part in training the future Church, the body of Christ.
